A single-engine plane crashed into the air traffic control tower at Eggersdorf Airport, just east of Berlin.
The passengers aboard the plane, a 68-year-old man and his 46-year-old son, were taken to hospital. How serious their injuries are is still unknown. No one was injured inside of the tower. Damage to the tower was also limited.
Before the aircraft can be taken off the tower, the rocket that helps to eject the built-in parachute must be defused. The aircraft, the CTSW, was developed by the German company Flight Design.
