A light aircraft has crashed in a residential area in the Brazilian city of Guabiruba. The two occupants, aged 33 and 35, both suffered minor injuries.
The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The cabin of the aircraft remained largely intact. Nobody was injured on the ground. What exactly caused the crash is still unclear. The plane, a Kolb Flyer SS, suddenly lost altitude. The pilots decided to make an emergency landing attempt on the road. During landing the plane accidentally hit electricity cables, after which it crashed.
