Due to an unknown cause, a fuel truck crashed into an Airbus A321 from Aeroflot in Moscow on Saturday. The fuel truck in particular was seriously damaged in the crash. The driver was injured, but did not have to go to the hospital.
The parked Airbus, which was scheduled to fly from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Sochi, did not have any passengers or crew members on board at the time of the collision. It is not yet known how long it will take to repair the damage to the four-year-old aircraft.
