The SpaceX Crew Dragon has safely returned to Earth. The spacecraft ‘splashed down’ in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday afternoon at 14:48 EDT, which is 18:48 UTC.
The Crew Dragon was launched on May 30th and docked at the International Space Station on May 31st. After a mission of little over two months, the capsule undocked from the ISS on August 1st, arriving on Earth just a day later in the Gulf of Mexico.
