A Hi Fly Airbus A380 performed a fly-by at a Portugese beach this week. The airline said the fly-by was planned and was intended to raise awareness and to treat planespotters.
As Hi Fly operates the A380 on behalf of other airlines, the arcraft has not been given a ‘neutral’ livery. Most charter aircraft are painted white, so they can be used by any airline. However, Hi Fly painted the A380 in question in a special ‘save the coral reefs’ livery.
