An Emirates Boeing 777-300ER has been damaged at Manila Airport after a jet bridge malfunctioned.
The incident took place at a gate at Manila Airport. Photos show that, after a jet bridge malfunction, the aircraft’s door was almost ripped off the 777. It is expected that the airliner can be repaired on site within a few days.

Earlier this month, another incident involving a jet bridge and an Emirates 777 took place in Sydney. The 777’s evacuation slide opened unintentionally, after which it was removed. The flight, which was cargo-only, could take off a little later.
