A FedEx Boeing 767 made an emergency landing at Los Angeles Airport this week. The aircraft’s left landing gear of the aircraft is said not to have been deployed.
The Boeing 767 was operating a cargo flight from Newark to Los Angeles. When the aircraft was beginning its approach, the pilots discovered that there was a problem with the 767’s left landing gear. After circling Los Angeles airport for 70 minutes, the plane landed safely.
The video below shows how the aircraft lands on its left engine after touchdown. Despite a large amount of sparks, the fire brigade did not have to take action. One of the two pilots has sustained minor injuries when exiting the aircraft.
