An Antonov An-124 has crashed after an emergency landing at the Russian Novosibirsk Airport in Siberia. No injuries are reported. The aircraft appears to have suffered an uncontained engine failure just after takeoff. It immediately returned to the airport, overshooting the runway during its landing. Though the cause of the engine failure is still unclear, the aircraft may have suffered a birdstrike.
