During our road-trip through Switzerland we met up with our good friend Maurits (#2) in Locarno. He works as a flight instructor in one of the most scenic areas in the world, and took us up for a flight in the beautiful Diamond DA-40! Watch as we take-off over Lago Maggiore and spot some snow-topped mountains. Switzerland truly is breathtaking.

For many, the Boeing Stearman is a personal favorite. With it’s beautiful radial engine and bulky stacked wings, we can all recognize this classic aircraft from miles away. During our trip in South Africa I had the incredible opportunity to join Ivan, a very skilled aerobaitcs pilot, on a short flip in his beautifully restored aircraft. From Barrel rolls to Barn storming, he showed me it all! I can’t wait to one day pilot one of these historic machines myself.
A few months back I met Steph, a commercial helicopter pilot and instructor, and together we went on an incredible flying mission across South Africa! Join us as we pick up a Robinson 22, and ferry it across the country to her new owner. With massive fuel/weight limitations, strong headwinds, and lots of laughs: this really was a trip to never forget!

It was a 06:30 wake up call; still a little dark outside, but the first rays of sunshine lit up the clear sky as fire.
